Hockey Rules*

 

SPRING 2010 

 

 

Games:

 

 

 

Each game will consist of three (3) fifteen (15) minute running time periods. Clock will only be stopped

during the last two (2) minutes of the third period when the score differential is two (2) goals or less. No

overtime during the regular season.

 

Teams will have one (1) timeout per game

 

Games will be played 5 on 5. The team may play a game with a minimum of four (4) players and one (1) goalie

 

If a team does not have a minimum of four (4) players and one (1) goalie the game is considered a forfeit

by that team. The game will go in the records as a 1-0 loss.

 

In the event a team does not have enough players, it will be permitted to pick up players from

other teams if the opposite captains allows it to bring the total number of skaters to seven (7)

with the exception of playoffs and finals.

 

Added players are subject to the league director’s discretion. The opposing team may question

the players added with the league director.

 

The goalie rule. If a team does not have a goalie it will be allowed to bring a goalie as long as the Team’s goalie is unable to play.

Management has the right to forfeit a game if illegal players are found on the team.

 

 

Rosters:

 

 

Rosters will be frozen after the third game of the season; no player may be added after this time. A player

must play in a minimum of three (3) games to be eligible for the playoffs.

Each player may only be on one roster per division.

Rosters will consist of a maximum of thirteen (13) players and one (1) goalie.

Every player must sign a waiver every week before the game.

 

 

Penalties:

 

Icing is from the blue line only in the last two minutes if there is a 2 goals or less differential.

Fighting is a minimum of (2) game suspension. Suspensions are up to management discretion

 

 

Equipment:

 

As a house rule face mask (half shield) is mandatory. All players must comply with the rule by the

beginning of the game on  FEBRUARY 15, 2010

All teams must have matching jerseys by the beginning of the 3rd week.

Any player who receives three (3) penalties within a game will be ejected from that games and may serve

a one (1) game suspension at the referee’s discretion

 

Playoffs:

 

League will determine how many teams make playoffs per division.

Playoff games will be the same format, in case of a tie there will be a five (5) minute sudden death

overtime period played. If no winner is determined by the there will be a four (4) player shootout. If the

score is still tied after the four (4) shots, all team players will continue the shootout one at a time, in the same order, until a winner is determined.

 

USA Inline Hockey rules will be enforced /inclusive of house rules.

 

 

Payments:

 

Team fee is $1500.00. Full payment of league fee is due by the 3rd game. No exceptions.

Only checks or cash accepted.

Payments are due before the games start.

 

 

 

*Management has zero tolerance policy for fighting and will not tolerate abuse to management or the officials.

*The Sports Complex has the right to deny any person entry into the facility.

*House Rules are subject to change anytime per management.
